Happy Birthday to me Cap'n!!!!

Ship's Log 01.03.2013

Ahoy Mateys! Today be a very special day. It be the day of me dear Cap'n MaryLu Tyndall's birth.
I am proud to be servin' aboard MaryLu's ship; she be a fair Cap'n and she has a very loyal crew. We sail the rough seas, fightin' off Satan's atttacks. That serpent be no match fer this crew wit' Cap'n MaryLu leadin' us. The Lord has truly blessed MaryLu with a talent in writin'. This crew be here to help spread the word about her books. We be all about prayer, friendship and commitment.

So, let us all be liftin' our cups to the good Cap'n and wish her the best birthday ever! Huzzah!

Today is also my son's birthday. I want to wish him a very Happy Birthday! Aaron, I love you!

Son,
Sometimes, I wish I could turn back time, if only for a moment. I can't help but think about the days when you were just a child. I truly miss those days......yes, I know, you have to grow up. Doesn't mean I have to like it. At least I now have grandchildren, to fill that void.
So, I give you permission to keep growing up. All I ask is that you stay my Son forever.
Love,
Your Mom

  5. Happy birthday to the Cap'n!! And also a happy birthday to your son, Aaron. I totally hear you on your kids growing up - my boy is only 8, but I already miss those little boy years. I'm trying to enjoy every last little minute and detail because I know I'll miss it terribly when he's grown!

  6. This is great Chap!I sure hope Aaron had a wonderful birthday. I know MaryLu did from what she posted. Time is so short and goes by way too fast. Our kids are blessings...it is great to watch them grow up and a little sad at times too. Mine is 15 and I sure miss my little baby...but I am so proud of the young man he is! Love you Debbie and thanks so much for sharing this!
