Ship's Log   10.06.2013

I wish to tell you about my sister and brother-in-law, Rich and Norma Allen. They run a few stands at various fairs and carnivals. They travel from city to city and sometimes out of state. This week they are at the Lake Perris Fairgrounds in Perris, California. You can find it's location HERE.

As you can see from the photos below, they have a great set-up:

Sierra Kettle Korn
Sierra Korn Enterprises

You will find this nice little set-up towards the back of the fairgrounds near the animals and where the concerts are performed. Here is a list of what they have to offer:

Best Funnel Cakes Around
Best Kettle Korn and Karmel Korn
Old Fashion Soda
Giant Smoked Turkey Legs
Slow Roasted Turkey Legs
Corn Dogs
Hot Dogs
Polish Dogs
Chicken Strips
Deep Fried Vegetables
Deep Fried Candy Bars and Twinkies
Yellow Sweet Slow Roasted Corn on the Cob

Now doesn't that just make your mouth water? I can sure go for one of those slow roasted turkey legs.

They will be at this fairground October 5th - October 13th.
If you are in the area, stop by and tell them that Chaplain Debbie says hi!

They are also on Facebook, so jump over there and 'like' their page! You can follow this link:  Sierra Kettle Korn

Thanks for stopping by and please help spread the word about Sierra Kettle a personal favor to me. It would make me a very Happy Chappy!  God bless.

  1. WHOA!!! I didn't expect to win! I'm so excited!!!! :) Thank you Debbie!!

Also, the food stand sounds cool! Debra was telling me about it last week. Love seeing the pictures. Most of that food sounds really unhealthy. Hahaha! Which is usually the best kind. :D I would totally try the turkey and corn on the cob... Kind of like Thanksgiving dinner to go lol. I went and liked their page, but I doubt I'll ever be able to go there, unless I am able to visit sometime :)

Thank you again for the books! :O

    1. Congrats, Sarah! And thanks for liking their page!
