MOVIES & TV

I recently watched an old Keanu Reeves movie, HARDBALL. Honestly, I almost turned it off about 5 minutes into the movie because of the profanity. But, I pushed through and ended up truly enjoying this story. Here is the synopsis of the movie:

An aimless young man who is scalping tickets, gambling and drinking, agrees to coach a Little League team from the Cabrini Green housing project in Chicago as a condition of getting a loan from a friend.

This movie has some predictability in it, but it also has a few unexpected moments. It was light-hearted at times and touching at other times. Whenever you have a movie with a group of misfit kids in it, you know it is worth watching.

You can read more about it HERE.
